These spiritual disciplines don’t earn us His approval, but they do help us remain sensitive to His presence and become more like Jesus. At HOPE, one of our main rhythms is prayer. Each month, we send out a list of prayer requests from around the world that guide our staff and supporters on how to pray for the communities where we work, the people we serve, and the team and partners who carry out our mission. Praise God for the determination and creativity of Praise God for the determination and creativity of entrepreneurs like Grigore and Evghenia in Moldova! They used to struggle to provide for their three daughters. With job opportunities scarce in their community, it was difficult to see a path forward. But using loans from Invest Credit, HOPE’s microfinance partner in Moldova, Grigore renovated an old building space into a thriving catering business and events space! Today, Grigore and Evghenia work side by side and dream of expanding their business even more. “We started this journey cold, uncertain, and rejected by many. Today we see God’s hand in every plate of food we prepare, every family we serve, and every smile from our daughters,” Grigore shares.
